Counseling
To support the counseling needs of our congregation members, The Zero Collective partners with trusted Private Practice Therapist & Counseling Centers across the Greater Grand Rapids area, providing compassionate care and guidance for individuals and families.
Pre-Marital Counseling
Couples who wish to have a Zero Collective Pastor officiate their wedding ceremony are required to complete premarital counseling. Typically, counselors meet with each couple for 5–7 sessions, though the exact number may vary based on the couple’s needs and the counselor’s discretion. We strongly encourage couples to contact a counselor at least six months prior to their wedding date to allow adequate time for this process.
Premarital counseling is designed to be tailored to each couple’s unique strengths, challenges, and goals, and is one of the most meaningful investments you can make as you prepare for marriage. Below, you will find information on how to connect with an approved counselor to begin the process.

Counseling Centers
As a collective of churches, we strive to provide resources and recommendations that we believe may be helpful and aligned with our beliefs & values. The counseling centers and providers listed on our page are resources we recommend; however, we encourage each individual to take responsibility for finding the counselor who is the right fit for their unique needs.
While we do our best to review and recommend trusted providers, counseling centers may add new counselors, therapists, or providers over time. We may not have personally vetted every individual provider, their specific approach, or their personal beliefs.
We encourage you to take the time to learn more about any counselor or provider you choose to work with. Ask questions about their experience, counseling approach, values, and areas of expertise to ensure they align with your beliefs, needs, and expectations.
Our hope is to help connect you with helpful resources while encouraging you to make an informed decision about the care that is best for you and your family.
