Objective: To assist the Facilities Director in maintaining the facilities and grounds of Frontline Community Church
Spiritual Gifts Needed: Serving
Part Time: 10 - 15 hours a week
Position Overview:
The person in this position will perform and/or oversee some of the custodial duties that are carried out within Frontline Community Church, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and emptying garbage. They will also take care of routine grounds maintenance duties on a seasonal basis (tree and shrub trimming, weed control around buildings, trees, islands, snow blowing, shoveling, salting sidewalks, etc.…).

An honest desire to see honor brought to God’s name every week through the maintenance and upkeep of the facilities and grounds
Ability to follow through and complete assigned jobs.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people
A minimum of a High School Diploma.
Previous housekeeping custodial experience preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform daily custodial/cleaning needs necessary to keep the buildings and facilities clean, including the following:
Vacuuming the front office lobby, offices, foyer, and worship center on specific days
Cleaning of bathrooms
Meet weekly with the Facility Director for an overview of specific tasks, duties, and upcoming events
Take weekly inventory of all cleaning/paper products to ensure proper levels to keep bathrooms cleaning closets stocked
Assist in maintaining the grounds during spring and summer, keeping trees and shrubs properly trimmed, and maintaining weed control around buildings, trees, and shrubs. During winter months, snow is blowing and shoveling the sidewalk as well as spreading salt.
Assist in room setups for regular weekly events, as well as for special events.
Monitor building and parking lots to ensure the safety, security and welfare of members, visitors, staff, etc.
Be available on-call to respond if necessary for security-related needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays, on a rotational basis.
Assist Community Service workers assigned to work to Frontline; review expectations of work
Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Director

Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. Noise level may be escalated at times. Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back strength to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs: this position requires good manual agility, coordination, and stamina. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds. Frequently required to have full mobility to sit, stand, walk, or move. Must be able to operate a vehicle. This role requires some sedentary tasks that must be completed in an office setting. Certain vision abilities may be required for this role.

Objective: To assist the pastor and team leads in fulfilling the mission of NewLife Church by providing administrative assistance.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Administrative Assistant is an administrative position, working with the Lead Pastor and Team Leads with tasks and team organizational skills needed to accomplish the mission of NewLife Church. This position requires a highly organized individual who is able to multi-task with a variety of demands. Confidentiality and the ability to discern personal information without divulging confidences is a must. This position is a direct support to the Lead Pastor and one of the first persons the public sees and talks to. It is also a key point of contact for members, guests and those seeking help and connection with the Lead Pastor and staff at NewLife Church.

• Ability to meet weekly and long term deadlines and to capture critical details
• A understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the ability to maintain confidences
• Critical thinking skills as they pertain to process and pre-planning
• Minimum of a High School Diploma, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous administrative office duties preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google Docs, G-mail, Google sheets and Social Media (Facebook)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform Administrative duties for the Lead Pastor
• Act as the filter for access to Lead Pastor. Receive requests for meetings with Lead Pastor and maintain his calendar.
• Notify Lead Pastor, team members, congregational care and prayer team leads of any hospitalizations, deaths, etc..
• Handle benevolence requests and coordinate needs with Benevolence team per established process
• Handle counseling requests and coordinate needs with appropriate counseling options
• Forward prayer requests to the Prayer team
• Update database for new guests and families and send new guest information to team lead for “card ministry”
• Update database with Baptism and Member information
• Receive requests for payment/reimbursement and electronically process check requests
• Post weekly attendance on Google Sheets & Dashboard. Provide giving and attendance
information on the church Facebook page and email to staff and Advisory team weekly
• Update weekly virtual bulletins
• Keep updated staff contact information
• Answer phone and check voicemail and messages on church phone
• Assist with scheduling and organizing events throughout the year by collaborating with ministry department leads
• Coordinate and organize NL hosts for weddings, funerals, special church rentals
• Work with Administrative Assistants within the Zero Collective for best practices
• Print brochures/fliers/posters/volunteer tags as applicable
• Maintain and organize office supply storage area(s)
• Order office, janitorial and coffee bar supplies
• Pick up, distribute and disseminate mail and correspondence. Funnel requests for meetings/information to appropriate team members.
• Assist in the preparation of the administrative budget process annually
• Assist in the preparation of the annual District reports
• Coordinate volunteers to maintain the administrative duties when staff is unavailable
• Maintain a church internal calendar and building use schedule Google Sheet
• Oversee and provide assistance to the Hospitality team leads as needed
• Background checks (three step process)
• Baptism, Salvation, Newcomers lunch: Prepraration/ follow up/ Documentation.
• 1:1 meeting with Lead Pastor
• Facebook Connect page moderator.
Post: Giving stats
• Restock/clean/ maintain Lobby, New guest, Volunteer lounge.
• Attend Bi-Weekly staff meetings and take meeting minutes / follow up
• Other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor
